Hi everyone. I did not want to say anything untill it was a for sure thing but to my surprise it became a sure thing last night so here it is. I was contracted to be a snake handeler on a movey curently in production. The shoot was today and I must say I had an awsome time. This is one of the best times I have had in my herping career. I was to catch Rattle Snakes and be there to control them and keep everyone ells safe while the shoot was being done. In all we had 6 Rattle Snakes in the shoot and it was awsome. After the horably long wait for the loyers and to sign releases and all we were set. In all I worked for 11 hours today and the camera crew got 45 minutes of footage in the 4 hours they were there. We got footage of the snakes rattling and striking and fake hands and just coiled up in defencive positions. I was shocked at how hard it was to make a snake look mad when it was not LOL I know this probably dose not belong in this forum but since I am in this forum the most and you are my peoples LOL I figured I would put it here. The movey is do out somtime around October and lucky me will be in the creadits. I am do to take the 6 snakes to the studio in the next couple of weeks for more footage then the snakes will be released. I did not get paid a whole lot for this but it was enough to make it worth my while but the expearience to work on a movey like this, The chance to educate some people who otherwise were afraid of snakes and the contacts I made are pricless. The only bad thing I see with this is the Movey is a horror movey so hopfully they wont portray the snakes as being to bad but what can you do? Well it has been a long day. I was in the sun for 11 hours and I look like a lobster and I am beet so its off to rest. Oh and one other thing "No animals were hurt in the making of this movey" LOL Sorry couldnt help that one
