This boy along with 3 others were born the other day from a female I had no idea was gravid.. There were 4 slugs, 3 stills and 4 live.. Every baby that's alive right now has some degree of lateral striping, but this boy takes the cake.. I think it's safe to say the lateral striping is genetic, but variably expressed. My adult male DP has small neck stripes, so I'd say polygenics are right out the window on this one. If you do some searching, you'll find that Davey has explained for the past few years that DP's also carry lateral striping so it's not a surprise to see this boy.. Enjoy [ Hide Replies ]
