Sorry about all of your troubles Jim. As far as the eggs go, the good ones have a blood spot in them, which means they are fertile. I never saw mine mate either, so they must be secretive, unlike the monitors who are at it all the time. I hope the remaining time you have with your dog will be as good as it can be. When he crosses the rainbow bridge he will be healthy again and playing like a puppy. Remember all the good times you had with him. Take care, my thought are with you.
