We are hot most of the year and pretty mild in the wonter. My monitors are housed outdoors all year. They all have a smaller heated shelter to retreat to on colder nights. But other than that, they stay out all year. I let the biggest Niles out to roam the backyard on weekends.....supervised of course. Watching two adult male Ornate Niles combat is an awesome sight.
