Good advice! If you really want to keep the aspen tho here is what i have started doing on feed nights. I take a solid piece of shelf liner and lay it on top of the aspen beding. He usually just hangs out in his hide until i move the f/t rat in front of his hide and zap!! I wait till he is done and then just remove the liner!
