Posted by: cochran at Sun May 14 18:24:35 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cochran ] I personally have seen that the second clutch is faster than the first.The trick to not double clutching is, do not feed them too fast to get them back to a good weight.Cornsnakes will lay a second clutch approx. a month from the first one if fed a lot.the second clutch (in my case)has a lower fertility rate than the first.But I have never put the male back with the female after the first clutch.My second clutches have always been from stored sperm,I have to assume.I hope my rambling helped. jeff | ||
