we just got a new 05 girl and she has not eaten for us yet. we've had her for about a month and a half. shes not too skinny so i'm really not worried at this point but i'm wondering if anyone else has seen a non-feeding reponse like this:

at night she'll poke her head out of her hide (flower-pot hide with the hole at the top) as if she is hungry. when i put in a rat pup, which is what she was eating before we got her, she acts very interested in it. when i come back to check on her (about 45 min later) she has her entire body out of her hide on the floor of the tub but keeps her head elevated and resting on the top of her hide. she still is looking at the rat but wont touch it.

she has done this 4 times now in the last 2 weeks and im wondering why she would come all the way out of her hide only to not eat? the rat pup cant get to her when she's in or on top of her hide so i dont think its a safety issue. plus, shes exposing her whole body to the rat...

well, sorry for the long post but any thoughts would be appreciated. thank you
