RE: Can Back heat be used

I have it on one of my racks and it's really not very good - although, better than nothing. I will never go back heat again. It has to work harder and you lose too much energy. All the females in the racks for back heat were late laying eggs - I think due to adequate heat. I also find animals in this rack trying to lay on the back side of the cage (along the wall).
