Posted by: desertkingsnake at Tue May 16 19:02:32 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by desertkingsnake ] A few weeks ago while i was feeding my kingsnake she was bit in the eye by the mouse i was feeding her. yes i was feeding live which i do from time to time but now will stop doing becasue shes too old to keep up with mice like she used to. The mouse apparently tore the protective scale over the eye because it was just the forward part of the eye that was damaged, the rest looked fine. There was a bit of blood on the damaged part but the bleeding stopped quite soon and was barely more than 3-5 drops. She didn't seem to be in any pain and i decided to wait and see what would happen instead of paying the $150 check up fee for the vet to take a look. | ||
