This message IS meant to be harsh and mean:
Are you such a fool that you cannot see that, regaurdless of what your opinion is, "hybridizer" is the correct term used to describe someone who hybridizes? Hybridizer is, and always will be, correct in the English language grammatically. It's like saying, "I think origin_reptiles sounds STUPID, so I'm calling you orion_lizards!".
