First off, no matter what ANYONE tells you, snakes will grow to their potential no matter what size tank you keep them in. Balls average between three and a half to five feet in length as adults. The tank you now have will do for now but you need a screen lid with clips to hold it down. They are skilled escape artists. Good luck with it.
