Posted by: micahdenton at Thu May 18 23:39:08 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by micahdenton ] ok i haven't wanted to talk about stress induced color change in longi's but the other day a saw a "sicc" (stress induced color chanage) anery longi for sale with no mention that the color had changed. im worryed that someone while buy it think that that's what anery longi's look like. sicc longis while have a bright white where nromal anerys have bone or ivory colored white areas. the black pigment increase and covers up normal back ground colors normal silver. sicc longis often have miss shaped scales and tend to scare more. sicc is often linked to a regurge or other tramatic event like over heating (ie a thermastat breaks). they are still cool looking snakes but the color of them is not gentic. other then changing color their are fine just diffent. | ||
