Lele, is there a way if the vet can find out if his Vit. A levels are where they are supossed to be?? Can this be determined with bloodwork. Im taking him back on Friday for another checkup.
I am the wrong person to ask. Kinyonga (and a few others)was helpful in explaining it all to me when Luna had some neck swelling. I find it quite confusing. I am not sure if they can check actual levels (not sure how much it would fluctuate, but I would think the vet would know what he's doing. Here is an article on Vit A in chams - and reinforces that confusion! I just know that too much can be toxic. Any Vitamin that is not water soluble (Vit A & E)
can build up - and then of course there are problems with deficiencies.
If you are going back to the vet I would start a new thread here and get some other folks input.
