The verdict is out and debatable of IBD or pseudo disease that resembles same affliction of IBD in other species of snakes. Several times of past I have lost near collections of venomous due to an intrusive disease and where the snakes " attacked themselves". No doubt whether it is IBD or other, it is with neurological problems on the snake and as mentioned, very serious as far as spreading if husbandry is not checked or in order. Most cases of these diseases are with wild caught species added to captivity and therefore spread through the kept other snakes in ones collection. [ Hide Replies ]
