yes it does sound like she is sheding. however the male will overbreed to the female and cause stress which in turn will cause death eventually. if the tail is loosing weight but the belly is getting bigger noticably, she may have an internal infection. you should probably take it to the vet and have it checked for parasites and just a check up would be a good idea. by the way you should always quarantine any new gecko for 3 months to make sure it is not sick. now bothe of your geckos could get sick and you will have a large vet bill. and watery poop is not a good thing, go to the vet and have them both looked at, seperate them now.
