Unknown breeders can be less reliable, and therefore more of a gamble. They should be less expensive at least for a couple of years until the community has a chance to deal with them.
I bought a pair of anerys from such a seller and they never showed up! After 5 months of listening to excuses, having my emails ignored, and giving him every chance to do by right by me, I asked for my money back. He said yes but *big surprize* the money never showed up either. After a couple more months, giving him every opportunity to pay me (I even offered him payments to refund me) I reported him to the proper authorities (thanks kingsnake for telling me how).
It's more of a gamble to buy from the unknown. I have had good experiences with the other breeders I have dealt with though.
