I'm sorry you didn't get what you paid for, but....
I still don't think that a new breeder should be "expected" to get less for their animals than the well known breeders. Especially if they have exceptionally nice animals to offer. Would you expect a new breeder that has a litter of very high end animals to sell them for a couple of thousand less? If that started happening then the ones that are trying to get more for their animals would be "very upset". These new breeders would get bashed for "price cutting" and would be accused of "bringing down the market price". Of course, everyone knows the market price is destined to come down a bit anyway.
I do think that anyone buying from a new breeder should always use caution. If possible they should try to purchase from them in person.
BTW if a person intends to rip you off...... They'll do it regardless of what their prices are. So, obviously selling animals cheaper isn't the answer.
