But size wise a 100 gal would be fine area for a pair just in a more vertical and less horizontal arangement. they love to climb and if you will give them the chance to get above your head height wise you will see alot more of them and they will be ALOT less stressed out by you. I have 3 in a 8'tall 6' wide 4'deep enclosure with lots of hides and climbing areas aswell as leaflitter in the bottom and a water area 2 of the 3 seem to like playing in the water/chaseing food items in there the other wants nothing to do with it. As to temps and humidity and such I keep mine at between 65%and 85% humidity and temps range from 72 on the cool side to 90 in the warm areas and 135-140 basking areas at least 1 basking spot per captive so as to reduce stress and limit negative interaction. They will eventually get used to you and come out more but as I said if you let them get above your head in height they are ALOT less stressed and easier to clam and get used to you. They are a shy species as a whole but they can be very rewaerding and they sure are pretty little ones. | ||
