you were right. the females typically are supposed to be bigger. The age is more important than the size, however, the minimum size I would breed a female boa would be 5'5-6'. Some peoople have had success will smaller, but I wouldnt suggest trying it, for the females health. a 7' male is a very big male to breed to any size female. everybody has their own opinions, but my personal opinion, I wouldn't use him. Get a smaller male. The hemipenes of a 7' male could cause some damage to a smaller female, especially one under 6'. My opinion, if you are serious about breeding, get some size on your female, get her to 6' or so, and maybe late next season try putting a 4.5-5' male in with her, you should do well.
