I used to keep ball pythons which rather enjoyed the occasional swim in the bathtub. For short stubby landlubbers they were quite adept.



It did help with shedding, and also seemed to make them wanna poop. I don't see any reason why a corn couldn't get the same benefit from the ocasional swim.



Some words of caution:



Always check the water temp - anything over 90 F will make the snake uncomfortable and can be dangerous or even fatal if they can't get out. If you don't have a thermometer, get the temp so it just feels cool to the skin on the inside of your wrist.



Never, ever, leave the snake unsupervised!



Always make sure there are no holes he or she can get into!

(This includes that little secret hole under the top lip of the sink) Believe me - they will find them.



Be prepared to deal with poop - a disposable plastic cup is good.



Experiment with water depth - some snakes like to dive while others may prefer shallow water.
