Patternless Copperhead

This photo was taken by some friends,in Charleston,SC. they took the pic "in situ" and sent it to us hoping we could identify the animal for them...needless to say, I was floored when I took a look! I've asked them to send any other pictures they may have taken of it. I'll post more if I get them...VERY cool looking,I've never seen one like it,anyone else??? (sorry the pic is so small )
