I do not have any answers for you. Others on here will have better information. I did want to let you know that I recently got a peachthroat that is about 18 inches long. I have it in a 48inX30inx48in enclosure with a lot of room to climb, hide, and soak. That translates to 300 gallons. The monitor uses every inch of the cage it can and is out and about a lot. As the monitor grows I will build larger enclosures for it.



I have some 75 gallon tanks that I do not use. I would not think that a smaller tank would work very well for a monitor that size. We will see what people with more experience with the indicus complex have to say.
