Feeding Question

I just got a baby ball python...4 wks old, 18 inches long. The guy I got him from told me to feed him withing 2-3 days. So I fed him on Tuesday. He buried himself under his bedding and chilled there for the next day or two. I know babies eat more than adults...so, I was gonna feed him either tonight or tomorrow to keep up with the every 2-3 days. Is this ok?
