The shell has been chewed away up to the spots where it meets with the skin, the owner put a cream on it that the vet gave him until it grew over and is now healed, but they did not want to get rid of the dog so they gave up the turtle. It cant close up air tight anymore because the overlaping pieces of shell atre missing in the back, but she seems happy and healthy. I will hopefully be able to care for her and the others for years and years to come. | ||
