I'm going to the vet on Monday but I'm still concerned and am wondering if anyone else has seen this and whats going on? So last night I noticed that my gecko had this huge patch of dead skin underneath his belly on the pore area. Well I knew it had been there for awhile. (1st picture) I soaked him in warm water for a bit and was able to get it off. (2nd picture) There were these razor sharp things that are digging into the pores and have caused a slit (maybe the waxy stuff they secrete?) Anyway I have links to pictuers and I am wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this and what to do. I've been applying neosporin like the vet told me to and I'm still scared. He looks a lot better today and like the second picture except without the sharp things. It looks kind of red and it just appears to be a would now. Do gecko wounds heal up pretty nice? Let me know what you think [ Hide Replies ]
