to do it but not everyone has the funds for your scenario. You are right about the girls, a 1.2 group (for hets or homo)would be better but then 2.3 or 2.5 group would be even better so that you're covered if one of the males doesn't breed and some of the females don't grow well.

All depends on your available cash.
