Yes you should defenitly take your snake to a vet. I worked for a vet for 9 years. The biggest concern for your snake is infection. I wish I could see some photos of your snake's wound. They would help to evaluate its condition. The chances are that the bite is not life threatening.

I hope you don't live somewhere where most animal hospitals are closed. If that is the case and you decide to take it to an emergency clinic the vet bill will be hurendous.
