Back from sabbatical and WOW it sure has been a wild last couple of weeks especially for Mojaves – some real beauties are being hatched (selective breeding at its finest) as well as some awesome crosses! I guess this will put to test the theory that all of the new and future mixes will keep the price of the morphs up. Big congrats to Tracy and VPI on their awesome Pastel Spot and to Roussis for the Pied Spider and the F2 Superballs. Many congrats to Tom Baker for proving the Crystal genetic and for popping out the Paradox – that is one wicked cool ball – not to mention your clutch odds (what offering did you make to the BP Gods?) – I just hope there was a boy in the bunch! Congrats to Amir on the Super Mocha Latter Ball – another stunning animal! This is really an exciting time of year - looking forward to see what else this season will bring us!

Any BP hobyist/breeders in N.Fla area? Yep – there seem to be a few. Jacksonville, Space Coast area, Melbourne/Palm Bay area, Greater Daytona Area, Port St. John, sandwiched between Daytona and Orlando, Orlando, Sarasota, Palm Bay, jacksonville, and Tallahassee!

can snake eat hamburger?

Got bit don't know why – Possibly because you are raising what is essentially a wild animal and her natural inclination at the time was to sink her teeth into you – be thankful she wasn’t teething.

A request for photo of the Pied Spider I’d really like to see a full body shot if you can get one Steve?

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM a new project for Nextworld – cool snake, nice project, perhaps we can find a new name – this one doesn’t seem to be gellin with the community?

HETS HETS HETS Better odds if you buy a pair? –If you are going the het route – why buy a male right off? Figure out what morph you want to work with and buy some het females. In a year or two when they are close to being breeder size then buy either the het male or a homo male to breed to them. Het males are cheap, even breeder sized and proven ones, or take that time to save for a visual. More females will give you better odds and also helps diversify your bloodlines.

Quote of the week:

Everyone has there theories and ideas on genetics behind others 'little secrets' but it is funny to imagine the breeders sweatin when someone sees somethin close, followd by the sigh of relief when someone else bashes the idea – General_Cha0s
