Posted by: JDouglas at Fri Jun 9 17:49:59 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JDouglas ] I had always heard that a bad egg will not affect a good egg but until recently had never tested that theory. We had a clutch of eight with one bad egg stuck in the center. It went bad a couple weeks into incubation just like yours. It dented in, turned yellowish and then began to mold. It was completely convered in green mold after a couple weeks. The mold did not spread to the other eggs and all seven hatched recently in day 58. I would leave the eggs and hope for the best. The egg pictured was attached to the moldy egg and as you can see it is perfect. [ Hide Replies ]
