Purchased the snake on 5/12. Immediately gave 1/4 hour soak. Snake gave a watery defecation within minutes. Week and a half later the snake shed. About a week ago another defecation which appeared watery on the paper towel substrate but not bloody or mucousy (and a wet paper towel is not much of a sample for analysis). Animal does drink but has not eaten. Have tried live and f/t mouse fuzzies and day old rat pinks and a brained pinky. Tried one dead gecko. The snake is about 18" long and has 3 rattles. Cage was a Vivarium (30 x 12) with a 40 watt light. Temps range from 90 to room temp. Snake moves through all parts of the cage. Now the snake is in a critter keeper in the vivarium to reduce cage size. Plenty of hiding spots. Front of cage is covered. Any suggestions?
