Posted by: LauraV at Sun Jun 11 14:54:24 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by LauraV ] I was so stunned. My husband went out to have a cigarette in our front yard and saw a snake at the end of our drive near a street grate. He called me out (because he hates them) and told me I'd better get my gloves (which, of course, I didn't do) because it could be poisonous... low and behold it was a ball. Surprising, it looked familiar. I ran inside to check the pictures of my 50% het pied female that went missing over a year ago...it was actually her!! She survived the winter. Don't think she ate much as she was only 300g (she's an '04)..when I got her under a light to look her over, I notices she had earned several scars during her walkabout. Not just that, she actually developed a green wash. The only thing I can think of is maybe she was eating green anoles?? I would welcome any thoughts on the matter. [ Hide Replies ]
