I am willing to say it is a scam. A friend of mine called me a few days ago and said he had been chatting with a "rescue" that took in a bunch of balls on a cruelty case. All balls were $200 OBO according to the e-mail I was forwarded. It started out as a pied, then there was an albino, then there were hets. I told my friend to not fall for it, and told him to request pics of each individal snake he was interested in, with a specific item (certain can of soda, dated newspaper, etc). Once he asked for those pics, he has yet to hear back from this "rescue". I also pointed out that rescues don't put OBO after their "adoption" fee. If is sounds too good to be true, more than likely, it is.
