I know. That's what I meant in my post about the "yays" and the "nays"...and why I wondered "what if" so much. If the aberrant genes end up mingling around, it could be hard to tell what's what. What made me decide to do it is that people have bred Salmon Jungles to regular Salmons and get pretty babies. I'm doing the same thing with a non-Salmon hypo - - with a twist.
Maybe I'll enlist the aid of the forum, if I'm lucky enough to end up with a litter (knock on wood). We'll cuss and discuss it, and if no one can agree I'll just keep them all
If I'm lucky enough to get a litter, I figure the worst I can get is pretty babies!
The Ghost girl delivered some beautiful orange orbs this winter along with some stillborn premies.
I have another Ghost female that is (fingers crossed) preggers right now. She's not due for a couple more months.
>>Linda, they both look awesome....the only thing I can really think of that is negative in this breeding is.....Harlys tend to throw abberent animals so when breeding your Harly to your Hypo Jungle what if a baby has an abberent patter could be linked to the Harly line maybe im off base here but that possibility just crossed my mind...good luck either way im sure the babies will be insane...your ghost girl drop yet or is she still being stubborn?
