I would recommend picking up some wax worms for your little one and try them out. I use the wax worms for my pregnant females to keep some good weight on while they lay eggs. Make sure you offer a variety in food choice, crickets (dusted of course), appropriate sized mealworms, wax worms, etc. Keep a dish of calcium in his/her terrarium, and make sure he/she has plenty of water. As long as he/she is defecating solid food should be fine to offer. I am feeding a rescued leo who is severely impacted a mixture similar to what you are using, but I think he/she may need a more solid food source. I could be wrong, this is just my opinion.
