Thanks for posting, that is fascinating. I had read somewhere that the delivery system could be considered "inefficient" in the sense that the venom groove is relatively narrow and that was why the snake "chews," but I don't get that sense from looking at these pics. A coral snake definitely looks like a small cobra.
