CITES Appendix 1 status has no effect on their possession or movement within the United States, CITES only applies to movement of species between different countries. Unfortunately, the Jamaican Boa is one of the few boids listed under the U. S. Endangered Species Act and therefore the buyer and seller both will need a CBW Permit to transport them between different States. I think it is unnecessary, but that's their current status.
