I've just finished session one of my summer class for kids, I have 2 more weeks to go. Yesterday the teenager who helps us in the classroom went into his backyard to get his hedgehog when his dog almost ate this roaming wandering baby. He wanted me to find some place for the baby to go away from his dogs. oy what am I gonna do with this one? When I got home I gave it a bath then dinner which it ate with no problem. This baby thinks he/she is so bad lol when I took this picture a little while ago the baby threatened me. A mouth open get away from me stance, it was so cute lol too bad I didn't get that photo. I really do not want to keep every turtle I see. People keep giving them to me and I have to find something to do with them, some place for them to go because I'd be overrun if I kept every one that falls into my hands. Since this baby isn't a pet and isn't very old do most of you agree that it'd make it if I found a nice spot where there's access to water & food, away from residential areas then let it go? I think the wild life is what this one needs but there's that report about how when they're taken from their original territory they don't make it. That keeps nagging at me. Being this young, if not eaten by a natural predator it'd make it in the wild where it belongs don't you think?
