This is off topic but I just wanted to share some photos of our first breeding attempt with Panther Chameleons. I have a 1.1 pair of Ambilobe Panther Chameleons that I have been waiting to breed. However, my female has yet to show receptive coloration so I've had no luck with my pair.

A friend of ours has two female Ambilobes but no male. One of her females started showing receptive coloration last week turning a bright "Pepto Bismal" pink. She brought the girl over and we put her with my male on Tuesday. Well today, I woke up to see that she had darkened up considerably with dark colored bars down her body. From what I've read, it looks like she is now displaying gravid coloration...SO, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

These guys are pretty cool to work with and hopefully this will be a first time breeding success!

Thanks for looking,
Celia

Here are some photos of the female displaying what I think are her gravid colors...

Here are some photos of my male. He has brightened up quite a bit since I introduced the females. A lot of the green he normally has went away...

And here's a picture of him with the female - I think he enjoys the company!
