I agree half the time, most "red phase" labelled hogs are indeed brown and not worth calling red. Mine however is very red. Especially if you compare him side by side with a normal light brown snake. Even my boyfriend, who isn't a snake keeper, agrees that he is very red. LOL. Its his favorite out of my collection. I mean, I don't believe they are literally RED as in, crayola red. But nice red hogs are indeed a dark burnt red color.
