i feed them to my little akamai since they are supposed to be naturally high in calcium and its difficult to get dust to stick to mealworms.. he (or she) LOVES them... they are supposed to have a six month shelf life if they are kept cool but i always end up feeding them to the baby much more rapidly than that..
