Posted by: Will Leary at Fri Aug 1 10:29:39 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Will Leary ] With all the excitement surrounding the latest Jaguar discovers (which have created more questions than answers), I now believe that it's entirely possible for the Jaguar gene('s?) to bring forth not only Hypos, Red Hypos, Bananas, Leucistics, ect., ....but also *Albinos. IMHO, there are obviously multiple and complex genes at work here, and as I have said in the past, I still don't think we've scratched the surface. What I believe to be even more exciting is the "possibility" of a Jaguar popping out with multiple visible traits (Paradox of sorts), such as Leucism AND Albinism displayed simultaneously in one animal (perhaps an Albino Jaguar with Piebald patches, *AND one pink eye and one blue eye!). Impossible? | ||
