I originaly kept my hatchling western hog in a 20 gal tank and he was very active and a voracious feeder. He still feeds well. Only missed 2 feedings since October. I moved him to a rack system to free up room and now he just hides inside of his conch shell that I use for their hides and will only eat if I place a fuzzy under the shell with him. This has been going on for 2 months now. Could the reduced amount of light in the bins be a cause of this? He is now housed in a sterilite tub. I can tell he doesn't come out because there are no "paths" worn around the edges of the bin like I observed in the glass tank.
