Dropped more leos than tails...

Don't worry about getting bit or them losing a tail. Bites don't hurt at all and tails are rarely dropped if you don't grab them. Honestly my biggest worry/problem is hatchlings that like to leap from your hands to the ground 5 feet below. I had 2 do this this season alone. Luckily none have died or been injured due to this but it could easily happen.



I only handle my babies to clean their cages. Also, now I try to coral them into their moist hides so I don't have to risk dropping them at all. I just remove the hide and cover the opening at the top so they cannot get out, then clean the cage and put them back.
