Yup, female. I have a female that has a tail that has a very similar appearance. It's important to consider the 'identifiers' in aggregate in situations like this.
There are females with slightly concave plastrons, reddish eyes, cloacal openings farther down the tail, and that are more colorful than some males, etc.

She's a beauty, even with the double vertebral scutes.
