It may have old freezer smells that are putting the snake off feed. You mention the rat being wet. Have you tried thawing without getting the rat wet? You may be washing all the good rat smell that the snake likes off the rat. I would try a fresh killed rat to see if that makes a difference. [ Hide Replies ]
