It's possbile that all these people bred their boas with ones that look Pastel. They could have even bred them with Pastels from a proven bloodline. The problem is that not all Pastels will pass on color. Some just make for a cleaner Hypo. Even when you do have a Pastel that's proven to pass on color you don't get an entire litter of "colorful" animals. You might get lucky and most of them will have additional color. You might get really lucky and there will be a few that will "KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF".

It's only the pick of litter animals that will make you say, "WOW!!!".

Of course, even the ones that don't show color "could" pass on color to their offspring. Just make sure when you buy a "Pastel Hypo" it's from a proven bloodline that has some "KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF" siblings.
