Maybe some Type II Anerys are compatible to Colombians, while others are not. There are a few reasons I come to this conclusion. First is that the Type II Anerys come from a variety of locales over a very wide geographic range. Some do get brown a little as they age, others stay black, silver, gray, and white.

Also, your female was from Mexico, I think Bill's was El Salvador (Bill correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it your Blood that ended up being dh Pewter that gave you the litter we are talking about?).

I know the matriarch to Jeremy's Blizzard project has to be (in my eyes) the best anery ever. I fully expect her to prove Axanthic. What I want to know is if the Type IIs from this line are compatible with Colombian Anerys. That would be cool if they were, and I wouldn't be surprised. Since the original breeding was Colombian X Nicaraguan the lineage is 50% Colombian. Some of the Anerys I have seen from the line look more like Colombian Anerys, while others look like Jeremy's matriarch Nicaraguan. I bought one last year, and I would say he is right in the middle.

This is FUN STUFF! I would like to see someone breed a Type II from the Blizzard project to a Colombian Anery het Albino, and see if we can produce a live Blizzard, or something on those lines. I just want to see what the Anerys look like from such a breeding (if they are related, as it seems they are). Since it would be Anery X Anery (I X II), we would know for SURE if the two are compatible.
