He recommended fortaz injections. She did not improve for 2 weeks and I took her in again. He ran a culture and said that she has a pseudamonas infection and I am now giving her Amikacin injections. She has been on the injections for 2 weeks with no improvement. Any advice? I am injecting the amikacin just under the skin where it forms a small bump but seems to be absorbed eventually.
