You can get buld with uvb in many styles but it has to say UVB on it. You should have a temperature gauge to see how hot it's really getting. Check both at top (basking) and bottom of cage.

I'm getting a different book from germany but it probably won't get here for a few more weeks. It was published in 99 I think. Look in the archives. I know there have been threads for this lizard. Probably have much more information than I can give you.
