Very few US snakes exceed 8 feet in length.

Some Pituophis (I think Bull snake - P. Catenifer Sayi - but not positive) have barely exceeded 8 feet, none to 8 feet AFAIK.

I think Eastern Indigo does but again not positive.

I suspect some of the central/south american boas are more likely what is sought.
